V700 modular tower rectifiers

Floor-standing · Air or water cooling

The Vega V700 is a floor-standing modular rectifier for high-current electroplating and anodizing. Air- and water-cooled tower configurations combine parallel power modules with flexible process controls.

V700 product rendering

Up to 168 kW

Maximum output power

Up to 10,500 A

Maximum DC output current

6–400 VDC

Available output voltage ratings

Output ratings depend on the selected configuration. Maximum voltage, current and power are separate limits, not a simultaneous operating point.

Scalable power for production processes.

The V700 uses up to seven parallel power modules in a floor-standing tower with floating output. Select current or voltage control, manual or automatic operation and the process functions required by the line. Module count, cooling and output configuration determine the final capacity and installation.

Parallel modules

Up to seven modules share the load within the platform. Output limits depend on the selected configuration.

Air or water cooling

Air-cooled IP32 and water-cooled IP54 configurations support different installation environments.

Control integration

Vega process controls and the included IOS interface support plant integration, with industrial protocol and waveform options specified separately.

Air and water towers in one platform.

Select the cooling arrangement around the facility and process environment. Tower height and weight vary with the module stack.

Options & accessories

Configure the V700 around your process, controls and installation. Options are specified separately; availability depends on the selected output and system configuration.

Options

  • Higher-efficiency DC output. Synchronous rectification is available for applicable configurations.
  • Reversing output. Switch between forward and reverse output polarity.
  • Pulse output. A 1 ms option is available for resistive loads; software, recipe and component selection determine performance.
  • Auxiliary CPU supply. A 24 VDC auxiliary control-power configuration is available.
  • Lower ripple. Ripple below 1% is available on request.
  • Emergency stop. Specify the external safety and control arrangement.
  • Industrial communications. Profibus-DP, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET and Modbus TCP.
  • Analog PLC control. Integrate process commands and feedback with the plant control system.
  • Multi-tower operation. Interconnect compatible units for a common load under coordinated control.
  • Extended ambient temperature. Up to 122°F is available on request with derating.
