Q100 three-phase rectifiers
Tabletop or 19-inch rack · Air or water cooling
Compact DC power for electroplating and anodizing, with three-phase input and a choice of cooling configurations. The Quasar Q100 brings flexible process control to a tabletop installation or standard 19-inch rack.
Up to 8 kW
Maximum output power
Up to 500 A
Maximum DC output current
5–160 VDC
Available output voltage ratings
Output ratings depend on the selected configuration. Maximum voltage, current and power are separate limits, not a simultaneous operating point.
Compact power. Three-phase capability.
The Q100 is a full-bridge switch-mode rectifier with current or voltage control. Manual or automatic control, amp-hour counting, ramps and programmable waveforms support process requirements. Reversing and pulse output are available as options.
Three-phase input
Select the input supply rating to match your facility. Rated-load power factor is above 0.95.
Process control
Current and voltage control, amp-hour counting and programmable ramps support repeatable operation. Functions depend on the selected configuration.
Room to expand
Compatible units can be interconnected for a common load under a master controller. ACRS can size and configure the complete system.
Choose the cooling around your installation.
The Q100 supports tabletop installation or a standard 19-inch rack. Air-cooled and water-cooled configurations have different enclosure protection and cooling-service requirements. Rack hardware and installation clearances must be confirmed for the selected configuration.
Q100 air cooled
A compact tabletop chassis with air cooling and IP31 protection. Provide the ventilation and service access required by the selected unit.
Q100 water cooled
Water cooling with IP42 enclosure protection. Confirm the water supply, connection arrangement and cabinet or rack installation with ACRS.

Options & accessories
Configure the Q100 around your process, controls and installation. Options are specified separately; availability depends on the selected output and system configuration.
Options
- Reversing output. Switch between forward and reverse output polarity.
- Pulse output. A 1 ms option is available for resistive loads; recipe, software and component selection determine performance.
- Lower ripple. Ripple below 1% is available on request.
- Industrial communications. Profibus-DP, DeviceNet, EtherNet/IP, PROFINET and Modbus TCP.
- Plant integration. Analog PLC interface, IOS terminal block and a communications-output enclosure.
- Multi-tower operation. Interconnect compatible units for greater output under coordinated control.
- Installation options. Elevated ambient temperature with derating and a copper water-cooling circuit.
- UL-compliance configuration. Ask ACRS to confirm the required component and certification scope for the specific configuration.
Accessories
- REM8E remote control. 24 VDC / 24 VAC supply.
- REM8 remote control. 85–264 VAC supply.
- REMMT1. Rectifier test equipment.
- RSM09A / PSM08A. CPU090 / CPU080 simulators, respectively.
- Q800 Cabinet. Cabinet platform for compatible tabletop rectifiers; configuration and power distribution are specified separately.
